Michael Vick is going to Hell

I’ve been quiet lately about the Michael Vick matter, mostly because we all know he’s going to end up in Hell. You don’t have to be in God’s inner circle to know that training dogs to fight for profit is a sure way to get damned. A story has emerged today though, and I want to say something about it. The NAACP, in its infinite wisdom, is suggesting that Vick be allowed to continue playing football after he gets paroled in a few years. Yeah, seriously.

R.L. White, president of the Atlanta chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, said his organization does not condone dogfighting or any other illegal activity, but he told reporters that Vick should be given a chance to redeem himself.

The NAACP also doesn’t condone radio personalities slinging derogatory terms either, but of course that’s considerably worse than brutalizing animals. What Imus did a couple of months back was well worth his firing, but Vick killing dogs should be forgotten once his debt to society has been paid, or so says a group who might actually be more hypocritical than your average pseudo-Christian. I wonder if they’re willing to give Imus a chance to redeem himself too?

What you have here, my children, is the single most pervasive form of racism present in America today – black people suggesting that other black people should be given more opportunity than anyone else. To suggest that Vick should be allowed to play football again while Imus should never be allowed back on the airwaves clearly illustrates the blatant stupidity and hypocritical drivel pouring forth from the mouthpiece of the NAACP.

“In some instances, I believe Michael Vick has received more negative press than if he would’ve killed a human being,” White said. “The way he is being persecuted, he wouldn’t have been persecuted that much had he killed somebody.”

Of course he wouldn’t have been persecuted so much if he’d killed someone. Black males kill other humans all the time, or at least often enough that the media largely ignores it. Killing dogs, however, is a relative rarity, particularly for someone of Vick’s stature, and moreover it is a crime that white, suburban, Christian America can take to the water coolers and the hair salons. Of course what the NAACP is really mad about is the press Vick has received regarding his illegal activity and how that press reflects on the black culture as a whole. They’re mostly just concerned that a prominent black citizen has done something stupid enough to potentially damage the credibility of the entirety of black people, and they want him to be given another opportunity so that he can show the world that all black people deserve extra chances. What they fail to realize is that most Americans have already made up their mind about black people. Even many who were born into a family free from hate have a completely rational fear and disrespect for black culture due to the overwhelming negativity emanating from their most vocal numbers, be it rap, a failure to speak English in an understandable manner, or prominent leaders such as this one, Jesse Jackson, or Al Sharpton promoting yet more hate in order to reap ever-growing profits. It’s unlikely that Michael Vick returning to football will change this.

The head of the Atlanta NAACP must have an IQ of 29, because people with an IQ over 30 can easily tell you the difference between hunting deer (and other animals) and breeding dogs for the sole purpose of fighting one another for cash gains. If there simply isn’t a smarter black man to represent the most prominent black organization in one of the blackest cities in America, then there’s not much of a reason to maintain respect for the organization, now is there? On top of the fact that they’re actively promoting racism and double standards, they couldn’t find one black man or woman in Atlanta smart enough to know the difference between hunting and dogfighting.
